PROFILE

- Extensive experience in overseeing rebrands, brand identification and repositioning, channel launches, and 360 campaigns.  Working with external and internal agencies and collaborators at executive level.  

- Leading creative teams, mentoring and guiding junior creatives, running training workshops in copywriting, ideas creation, production and post-production. 

- Worldwide Producing experience – from broadcast drama for the BBC (Burn It) and C4 (Hollyoaks), to commercials for Sky, Viasat, Disney, Universal, Sony, QVC and corporates for Orange, Radley Yeldar, Home Office, D.A.N and Millicom.

- Good working knowledge of French, Italian, Spanish and Russian. 

Experience of multicultural environments, including Scandinavian, CEE, EMEA.

2012 – 2014 CREATIVE LEAD & CAMPAIGN MANAGER         Viasat Factual

 

- Creative Direction of the three PAY TV factual channels: History, Explorer and Nature, through major rebrands and repositioning, working in multiple territories with external and internal agencies and production & design houses. 

- Working with Planning, Press, Marketing and Scheduling to build and strengthen brand and content awareness and to drive increased viewership through focused award-nominated on-air promotions, ‘added value’ web films, web banners, social media content, poster & digital billboard campaigns.

- Managing and mentoring a team of 18 junior creatives.

 

 

 

2007 – 2012  SENIOR PROMO PRODUCER & TEAM LEADER Viasat

 

- Devised an effective and competitive strategy for on-air marketing and promotion of the PAY TV department of this exciting and innovative Nordic multichannel digital broadcaster.

- Produced and Directed a number of award-winning and award-nominated on-air promos and commercials.  Overseeing crucial EMEA campaigns.

- Mentored, trained and led a team of 12 junior creatives.

 

 

2003–2007 FREELANCE PRODUCER, DIRECTOR & CREATIVE CONSULTANT  

- Directed 1st four episodes of 2nd series of BBC3 drama “Burn It”  (budget of £1 million.)

- Directed 6 month block of Hollyoaks for C4

- Consultant script development for ITV and BBC.

- Produced Channel Launch of  Bid-Up.TV  and rebrand and relaunch of sister channel Screenshop Today.  Implemented Production and Promotion strategy and process for both channels.

- Produced and Directed promos, commercials, corporates, and marketing spots for BBC, ITV, Sky, Bullseye TV, Loki Productions, Viasat, Grasshopper Films, , Nitro, Red Productions,  IseeTV,  ZTV, QVC,  Space City Productions, Serious Pictures,  Bloomberg,  CNN, FactTV.

2001 - 2003        PROMOTIONS PRODUCER BSkyB 

Increased output of high-end, effective brand promotions.

Devised an effective and competitive strategy for on-air marketing and promotion in conjunction with Head of Department.

Produced, wrote and directed all high-end promotions within an 18-month period.  Oversaw and mentored shoots of less experienced producers as well as producing weekly clip- and feed-based Promos for Sky News and Sky News Active working under pressure, with very short lead-times and managing creative briefs within a highly corporate structure.

Produced nightly news bulletins for Sky News at Ten, the channel’s flagship programme and affiliated radio spots for Talk Radio.
