VIDEOGRAPHY ESSENTIALS
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW TO GET YOU UP AND RUNNING AS A VIDEOGRAPHER AND HYBRID SHOOTER
WHERE &WHEN: 25TH APRIL, ALL GOOD BOOKSHOP, 35 TURNPIKE LANE, LONDON N8 0EP. 100 METRES FROM TURNPIKE LANE TUBE
AGENDA: The day is a practical workshop aimed at both absolute beginners and seasoned pros. If you’re here, you doubtless already know how to use a camera, but the aim is to dispel myths and offer information, inspiration and most importantly guidance. It’s all about asking questions. Technical blah and lecturing will be kept to a minimum, this is about empowering you with the knowledge and confidence you specifically need to survive in today’s market.
But I can just shoot video on my phone right? Okay. Good luck with that. When the client asks why it is flickering like crazy with low resolution artefacts, terrible sound, jerky movement and generally low production values, that’s your call. I wouldn’t want to answer those crits myself.
Sure, none of us really want to be doing two jobs at once and rigging our cameras out like Robocop, but here we are.
And honestly it’s really fun, and great money. Speaking of which, these workshops are not only a load of fun, they are unbeatable value
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING: Your camera. Any other gear you want to bring. Make sure to take notes of key info like frame rates and picture profiles.
